1st LO of our recent trip to Japan. This site is considered to be 1 of the 3 most beautiful sites in Japan. The vermillion torii is part of Itsukushima Temple and depending on the tide you can reach it by boat or walk out to it at low tide. The small picture with the white arrow shows my DH & DD waving when they walked out at low tide-I took the pic from a bluff. The temple was built in 593 -imagine! We reached the island of Miyajima by ferry and spent the day exploring. The best part-being with my daughter who I hadn't seen in almost a year! TFL!! jen

First, that is a gorgeous family photo. All of you look terrific. What a treasure that picture is. I absolutely love this page. I think it is my favorite among all your layouts. It's just stunning and so creative. I love all the details here like the white arrow pointing out your husband and daughter in the pic and the way you used souvenirs from the trip on the page. Love the big circle - it looks great in black - and your phenomenal flowers. A+ and a fav.

the little tiny bent arrow.. cute!! very cute. It's nice to have those tickets for a keep sake. I have kept any special ticket stubs too.. I like how you added them and all tickets together but can swing on the brad.. Fantastic job.

Lovely layout...you did a great job keeping the beautiful Asian look to it with your design embellies and pps. Great photos and I am happy for you that you got to see your dd after so long and in such a wonderful place.

You did such a good job on this layout. I love how you included memorabilia right on the page. The metal and embellishments work so well with the multiple photos. This is a really beautiful page to just sit and look at. Its great eye entertainment.
