SHCG: Wow she's such a cutie!!! I love how the alphas match the paper, my only suggestion would be to matte the photo or you could even cut around those top purple flowers/flourishes and tuck the picture underneath it. Beautiful LO :)
SHCG: Perfect pp for this adorable picture! I'd suggest lining the photo up closer to the big deal ribbon and doing away with the "diva" title... the ribbon on the pp could become the title. Definitely a LO you'll love looking back on! :)
SHCG: That picture is adorable! You captured such a sweet moment here, which is why I wish I could see your journaling better. I'd really like to see it written on a pink star inked in black. I'd also like to see your little cutie get more attention even if that is quite the bg pp. I know I'd have trouble covering it up, too. After matting the pic, I'd scoot it down to the left so she's off center. The journaled star could then be placed coming out from behind the photo. You already have some cute phrases in the pp and the rectangular tag, I really think you can do away with the large diva title and the circle tag. I like the flourishes and the complementary color combo. The tiny touches of blue add a nice little pop, too.
SHCG: What a COOL page and yes she is a big deal. OK it has been said a million time but I kinda of want to see a mat around the photo. It's a good excues to add a more bling.
SHCG - What a cute photo & memory! Terrific scrap subject. Agree w/ the other comments - that is some gorgeous paper! Also agree w/ the idea of moving the pic. I suggest moving the pic down & a little left (a la the "rule of thirds"), & having the "big deal" quote kinda frame the pic on its lower right side. Then move "diva" closer to the pic to frame it on its upper left side. So that those 3 elements (the title, pic & quote) are grouped closer together & focus is less scattered, plus you'd be leaving the rest of the space blank for some negative-space drama w/ that lovely pp! Then perhaps ink/matte the pic in a color that works w/ the title & darker parts of the pp (for added emphasis). Nice work starring your adorable DD!!
SHCG: Wow this paper is fabulous! What is it? Such a cute picture on this page. I have to agree with the other suggestions about matting your picture. I would also suggest moving the "a" in diva down a notch to line up with the other letters. I would guess that you probably did not want to cover up your picture and for this I would suggest moving your picture down and running the diva letters right over top the picture. When you move that picture down, I would suggest not being afraid to cover up your paper a little bit. Sometimes I have that problem too, because the papers now are so amazingly beautiful. I have learned thought when I force myself to cover some of it up, my pages turn out all the better in the end.
SHCG: What a sweet moment! So cool you snapped the photo! Very nice colors here! I think the photo is a bit lost-I think you can mat it with white cs so it stands out more and move the photo to the right a bit.
SHCG: This is an adorable LO. I love the colors and the photo is so cute! I think the picture is a bit lost in this LO and maybe a mat of the darker color behind it might help it pop a bit. I love the story behind this and was glad to see you had journaled it on her. The journaling could be placed on a piece of pink cardstock and inked with the darker color, then tucked a wee bit under the bottom left corner of the picture, just to make it a bit more noticeable. Just a thought. Love the PP.
This was 3-4 years ago and we had gone shopping and I was getting aggravated, Jeannie out of the blue said Mama LOOK, and when I did she had this on and was posing LOL
