Wow! Look at him go for it! He'll do it again and ever scarier stuff!! I like the "divided" look you created on this page, Alissa. You are so good with color and making it work. This is a great representative of summer fun!
Great lo to to treasure this moment, this summer. You did great justice to a fabulous photo. I love your "snobby" sticker embellies. There is a great difference, yes?
What a fun LO...love the papers for this and the design...you did great copying a digital LO to paper!! Love the embellies...love your stickers and rub ons! Really cute LO
I cut the top note shapes with my expression. That is machine stitching on the edge of the green paper. All of the papers are from Rusted Sun by Fancy Pants. I used to be allergic to sticker, you could even call me a sticker snob, but I find myself using cardstock stickers all the time these days. And I certainly used at least half a dozen here. Also used the obligatory rub on and brads.
I stamped the letters for "JUMP" in archival ink. That pp is actually a scrap piece I had laying around from All About Boys by DCWV. Cut the letters out and voila! It's an oldie technique that found new life on this LO.
My DS is 2 years old here. That was the only summer he was brave enough to jump in the pool. He hasn't done it since (he's four now). He's the very cautious type, I guess. Anyway, I always loved this picture. I think it embodies summer days perfectly. It's one of those pictures I've scrapped more than once and will probably find myself scrapping it again someday.
