To begin with I want to extend many heartfelt thanks to everyone who leaves comments for me (on my creations and/or profile wall), I appreciate and treasure each one deeply. Thank you for adding so much sunshine to my day with your beautiful kindness.
This page – the first wedding centered one I’ve made so far – features an image of my aunt and I on her wedding day (back in ’88). The title comes from the fact that the thought struck me one day that between my aunt’s wedding in the 80s and mine in 2004, no one else on the maternal side of my immediate family got married.
Thus, though she technically followed behind me (as I was her flower girl), I was the one who got the honour of walking in my aunt’s footsteps as the next person in our family to tie the knot. I love this fact and had to make a flower and pearl flourish page to celebrate it.

What a nice memory to scrap! The colour combination is one of my favourites, and the photo is very sweet. It's unusual to have such a long gap between family weddings on one side of the family!
