Two weekends ago while eating breakfast, we glimpsed a hummingbird, visiting our feeder for a sweet treat, we watched it hover over all the flowers, savoring their nectar, and for one brief, fleeting moment, land on the oleander bush. Luck was on my side that day, I grabbed the camera and managed to get a few snaps (full zoom, through the kitchen window, no less - point and shoot camera, not a DSLR) of this gorgeous little bird as it took a moment to rest. Given the shooting conditions I did not expect my photos to turn out well at all, so you can imagine my delight when two of them were actually ok.
I painted the Dusty Attic pieces and turned the smaller vines piece on its side, the diecut paper blended in too well with the base paper, so I took a Sakura gelly pen with a gold tint and outlined all the edges to give it some definition and same with the letter stickers. The doily is misted with 3 different mists.
I really enjoyed doing this lo. Thanks for looking.
