My mother used to put fresh lilacs in my room each day when I was a girl growing up. The season for them didn't last long and she knew I loved them. So she would change them daily. My best friend gave me lilacs for my birthday since she knew my mom couldn't be with me in New Zealand. This layout was published in NZ Paper Chase magazine March 2012.

This is such a heartwarming layout! Beautiful too. I always associate lilacs with my grandmother who had a 2 story row of them beside her home and more spread around her yard! Thanks for the memories!
