Sometimes my dh and I get a little crazy. This was one of those occasions. We were living in Denver, CO at the time but decided that it would really be fun to return to Fairbanks, AK for a long weekend to attend the annual St Patrick's Day party at my former employer's. Of course it is still kinda cold way up there in Fairbanks, in fact it was -17º when we landed at the airport at 2 am. But by Fairbanks standards, that is not really all that cold! We lived in Fairbanks for 5 1/2 years and loved it! Every year an ice carving contest is held and carvers come from all over the world to compete. This is an ice carving near the visitor's center.

I don't know which is more amazing, that ice sculpture of your layout! The photo is really super, and your design creates a stunning winterscape!
