I like the vitnage feel of the layout it nice to see others use the orginal photos in some of their layouts. I scan all my old family photos. That was given to me by both of my grandmothers and I decided since I scaned them all why not use them in my heritage albums. I use removeable glue dots or photo corners when I use the orginal photos. I think they add something special to the page more so then copies.
Amazing photos, amazing design!!!! Love your pretty flower clusters; what makes this page so stunning is the pop of the embellies that you've added to the vines on the pp!!!!!
Great job with the copics! I love this...so awesome that you have these great photos from your parents younger days. I'm sure they'll be cherished for generations.
What awesome photos!!! You must come from a long line of photographers. I love the vintage look of your LO. It is beautiful. Love how your letters match the butterflies.
These are original photos from around 1937...my mom and her sisters. I scanned and enlarged the one of my mom and did a layout of that on NSBD. I keep doing that to old photos...fixing them up and then not using the originals..so decided to use these for the 3 pic challenge. ALso entered in the Swirlydoos May sketch challenge. The doily is actually a die cut sent to me by a lady from ebay. I colored the letters with a copic to match the butterflies..I cut one butterfly out of the pp which was hidden under a pic and stuck that on there. Chippies are Dusty Attic that I stickled with Platinum.
