This is my amazing, enduring, strong, loving, brave Caden in his hospital room while we were in Denver in December 2011. He has been through so much with his eczema and chronic infections. With hospital stays every 2 months here in Oklahoma, we finally found help in Colorado at National Jewish. After learning about multiple food and environmental allergies and the correct way to care for his skin, he is now a whole new child. This layout brought so many tears, I reflected upon the pain he has been though, the poking and prodding, the weeks he was bedridden at a time, to watching him begin to heal. We are so in love with this child and cannot imagine life without him, even though at times we were scared we could lose him. I used my Scraps of Darkness "Sakurabana" kit for this layout, the colors are just so fun and the whole kit is so versatile just like all the rest, stop over and check it out sometime!
