Group 2 Week 1 July Round Robin
Week one of each group was to choose a layout from their own gallery to lift from or to redo. I choose to redo a lo I was never happy with. Here's where the original can be found: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/311485/view/3229483/0/100/1.html
I'm much more happier with this one. I was going to try to salvage a few things like the "so cute' vellum the feather, and/or the forever young title, but they just didn't go with this lo. However, the dark green cs is the same!
The flowers, stick pin, butterflies and matching pp were a RAK I got last year from Amy, Crafty Mom of 5 that I finally got to use a year later!, the 8x8 pp was from a kit I got from JessicaLB that matched perfect! TFL

LOVE the redo- this really highlights the photo so much better & the stripes allow the green to lift it up & truly be a bg - great job- the flowers are awesome

lovely mix of papers! sometimes saving things from a RAK is great b/c they ended up being perfect for a project like this. Love the little punch accents.

I think you did it, girl. This project is MUCH more elegant than the original, and while I'm sorry that you weren't able to salvage some of the pieces that you used originally, you more than compensated for that with the new items you used. And it's so great that you were able to make such great use of the swap items you had. I particularly LOVE the punched border in the upper left corner. That's just beautiful.

I love the new treatment! It's so much more delicate but the striped pp behind the photo still give it that baby boy feel.
