Okay, this is a lift (and by lift in this case, I mean copy) of a LO by Amanda Probst in an old issue of CK Magazine. I was new to 12x12 scrapping at the time, and I loved her LO so I was even creepy enough to take my 2008 New Year's Eve pics to specifically fit. LOL Four years later, here I am finally getting to these pics thanks to LesleyC's new Scrap What You Eat (and Drink) Challenge, and I decided to go with the original plan and do this lift since I still like it. The twist is 'Sweet' - not sure this fits, but my daughter's sparkling grape juice is too sweet for me, so maybe!
Journaling says: Every New Year's Eve we watch a movie, eat all our favorite unhealthy snacks, drink champagne & sparkling grape juice, and watch the countdowns around the country. It's our family tradition!
I freehand drew the bottle shape on the backs of cs scraps and cut them out. I doodled a double line border on the page. This was a super quick LO - I should use a simple style more often - it was fun!
Also for the VLB Challenge to handcut an embellie.
