Jan’s running the Swirly Round Robin this month and with the twists and all, we’re doing a Christmas theme. That’s sort of appropriate, because nobody does Christmas like Krissy!
Since I was assigned Week #1 for my team, I had to create this layout before my kit arrived. No problem; I simply dug deep into my Swirly Christmas vault and found the perfect papers and embellies to go with this year's photo of Sophia with Santa. It's a landmark photo, by the way: for the first time since infancy, she willingly climbed up onto his lap and actually smiled and told him what she wanted.
This was a pretty simple design. I reversed the photo to create a mirror image and placed some pleated ribbon and Petaloo flowers underneath. Before placing the tree in the middle, I painted it with LuminArte Silk glaze; this had been shipped in an earlier add-on kit.
