This is an age old question: Can you have a platonic relationship with the opposite sex?
I did when I was in college and my boyfriend liked him too! Every year since our college years, I have received one of his long standing series of Christmas Cards that he creates, and upon opening them and reading what he and his wife have been doing over the last year, I am immediately reminded of the Chinese cooking and Country Western line dancing classes we took together; our day trips to visit historical places, museums, openings of galleries; and outings with our mutual friends. Life got in the way, and we have drifted a part but our friendship still lingers on through our correspondence.
It seems like an enternity since I last created and posted something and I have to admit that my hands were a little shaky when I started inking and misting on this two page art journal. Two fabulously designed Blue Fern Studios chipboard pieces are featured on this creation. On the vintage lock, I lovingly wrapped some Tim Holtz tissue tape and inked and applied some liquid pearls to the lock.
Wishing you all a Happy New Year and more importanly, I'd like to thank each of you for providing me with endless hours of inspiration through your art and stories posted in 2012.
