Big Ben - July 25, 2007 - London, England
JOURNALING: From the London Eye, we crossed the Thames on the Westminster Bridge to visit Big Ben & Parliament. I was amazed at how large the area was
SUPPLIES USED:
My Minds Eye - Stella & Rose patterned paper
Fiskars - Scallop sentiment punch
Light Mocha Paint
Liquid Pearls - Dark Chocolate
Range Ink - Coffee
Bic Mark It - Woodsy Brown
Stampabilities - Scratchy texture stamp
Cricut - Elegant Edges (dots 1)
Brown cardstock
Die Cut shape of big ben
clock face
Gems
Brads
Paper House Productions - Photo turn (recolored with Making Memories Wheat paint)
TECHNIQUE TIP: I knew I had to keep this layout to only 1 page but I could not really cute down any of the photos as I liked them too much. I decided to keep my embellishments at a minimum and start with a dark background then lighter so my photos stood out.

This is gorgeous. The pp especially the plaid really brings out the photos. Being English, I have always wanted to go here. I keep scrolling up and seeing even more I love about this LO. Well done!!!

I'm loving the photos on this one - makes we want to go there (we may be going in April - not sure yet). The distressing gives it a very "old English" feel to me - just perfect for scrapping such an old city!
