I took these photo's of our home and my son in 1966 after we had a path shoveled. The blowing snow had drifted up to the eaves on one side of our house! My son was only 2, but wanted to go out and "play" in the snow:) The main state route through our town didn't open til the third day after! We had already had so much snow they had to truck it outside of town. We had a snowmobile so my husband was able to get around, help neighbors, etc.

what great pics to have, and your layout captures that cold icy feeling so well(think my body temp just dropped 10 degrees-LOL!) In the early 70s there was a snowstorm like that here; my dad had a snowmobile business so he and some of the guys took a bunch of the machines out to rescue stranded people, etc...
