I recently found this photo of my dad in the back of an old frame. I had totally forgotten I had this photo and was so happy I found it, because it was always one of my favorites. I think that my dad is about five in this photo which means it would probably been taken in about 1922. It was once quite popular to have photos of children taken on ponies. I have one of myself that was probably taken in 1946.

I don't know how I missed this one...it is absolutely amazing!! What a wonderful photo of your Dad. I have one of my dad on a horse too, but the horses head is missing..lol!! Love the textures of the burlap, and the gears and lamp are a great addition to this fabulous heritage page!!!!

I love this Alice. Funny my boys both had their (day care/school) photos taken on ponies.........) They never got on one again! But they are charming. I love the sweet smile on his face and the priceless layout!
