A vase of flowers my Dh gave me .
There are some two dried delphinium blossoms at the top of the photo. Theyre from a bouquet of them my son gave me in 2006. The pink rectangular gem to the left of the green leaf is from my sis.
The gems to the left of the photo, and the green rectangular one at the bottom right of the page, are from Quicksilver.
The two roses at the bottom are from 48FiveTime,ones pink and the others purple.
The bottom sheet is dylusions spray on watercolor paper. I didn't make it for this, I was just trying out different colors one day.
The mermaid photo is from Pinterest. I love the colors on it.
The frosty vase I thought kind of goes with a water theme.

The DA has lots of different types of stuff on it. From the bottom, gesso, luminart which is much shinier than regular acrylic. Oil paint, more luminart, jaquard mica powder in silver. Then I was experimenting with crackle, dimensional magic, and glossy accents. I wanted the most intensification of the colors. I used crackle, then chalk, then more crackle, which messed up the chalk. More chalk, then dimensional magic by Mod Podge. That stuff is pretty neat, people use it in bottle caps.
I also used a purple ink pad on the edges of the DA to help cover up other colors.
I had hoped for something simpler here, but all that stitching didn't help when I started putting on flowers. I toned down a lot of gold paint .In the end ,cutting off the outer edge of the top ppr helped.
It looks like it just rained in the photo. We put the dog bowl and the sprinkler on top of the table because the patio floods. I cant remember where that silver ball came from .A yard decoration thing maybe. We don't have that table anymore cuz the bottom of the legs rotted from the water, and it was teak. Now we have a plastic wicker one that's crumbled in the heat. Between torrential rain and extreme heat, not much lasts . Lots of the plants love it though.
The DA has twinkling H2O watercolors on it under the crackle. I thought they came in a liquid form till I opened the little containers, and saw you have to add water. I thought sheesh when I tried them, kind of pale. I added more water though and worked a brush with it on top and, you get some nice amazing colors. I didn't say also I put on diamond glaze. I put the h2os in it and some of it looked mottled, the color puddled, pretty neat! I wouldn't have bought these but Wilmavoerens liked them so much i thought ide give them a try.
You can tell the beads are all sewn on ,right?
