My natural hair color was a medium-sort-of-reddish-blonde - but I highlighted it for years - and now have to have color to cover gray. In Oct '08, I had it dyed brunette, and I kept that color for a little over a year before I decided it was too much work and too expensive because I had to have touch ups a lot more often (every 4 weeks). It took six months to gradually go back to blonde without damaging it. These are dorky selfies I took trying to get a pic of the color after the first step. I wish I could have this particular shade again, but my gray shows at the roots too fast with a dark color. Blonde hides that a lot better. I used the center shot for a Jan '10 POD Mini Challenge (New You).

Journaling says: I loved having brunette hair, but the up-keep is so expensive. It's time to begin the journey back to blonde. Today, Lorri put in a few lighter highlights to get started. Jan POD mini - New You - New Old Me Step 1

This is my example for my April Four Categories Challenge - Category Four ~ Theme: Rainbows. The twist is to use 2 or more photos - I have 6.

This is for the April Music Challenge - Title with the bling twist. My title, Changing Colors, is the title of a Josh Groban song.
