Description: I took the Clear Scraps mini train set and decided to turn it into a mini-album/picture frame for my boyfriend's Mom for her birthday this week. :)

After decorating several cars with patterned papers from the Rusty Pickle Mayflower line, I also used some of one of my new "papers" I just got in for the train engine, it's called "Touche" and it's almost like a clay coated paper, it's flexible and super soft to the touch, very matte and cuts quite well on the Silhouette with the right settings! :)

In this case I cut the flourish-y frame on the middle car from a shape from the Postcard Silhouette Digital Design Portfolio.

It's about 3.5 inches wide and I used maximum pressure, medium speed (around 4) and made 4 passes (had it cut four times). It was the perfect amount, it didn't gouge the mat and came right up easily! :)

ANYway, I covered the engine in the Black Touche (110# Cover weight) (I hand traced and cut all the train paper shapes covering the acrylic, it was easier that way) and used the Touche also to make that frame and part of the photo corners (also from Postcard).

Used Inferno Curious Metallics Cover Weight cardstock (92#) for the Silhouette Fleur-de-Lit shape and also the photo corners as well, the top portion. (Set it to max. pressure and slow speed and cut it twice).

The cirle portion of the flourish-y frame is cut from another new paper I got Thursday, Eames Painting Canvas paper. It is 80# Text and cut easily set to medium cardstock weight with just one cut. This one is "Brushwork Beige", and I chalked it up a bit :)

The 2nd car utilizes the Silhouette Arrow for a frame (I didn't have the pictures I wanted to put on this so I will let his Mom apply her own pictures as desired) :).

Used lots of transfers, a few crystals in varying sizes, Creative Inspirations black grid netting "ribbon" (which curls up on its own, so is VERY cool in that way, and reminds me of railroad tracks in its pattern, here), and also some deep red Velvet ric rac (Maya Road) and I trimmed the end off a mirabou craft boa to apply to the smoke stack, behind it, so it would be like feathery smoke coming up and out :)

Will post more closeup pictures to follow.
