This is the table my boys do their crafts on, and that their laptop sits on. However, I'm seriously considering taking the top off the base and using the base for my new table. It's the right width (it's a little narrow, but that's ok), it's got the right chippy, vintage look (but I was wanting more detail on the legs - but it would work). It fits two chairs along the width, which makes it perfect for our family of 4.

Is it strong enough to support the table top?

I like the table but would it be sturdy enough for a kitchen table? What did DH say?

Hmmmm, I kinda like it the way it is. But I'd like to see you transform it too.
