McDonalds has a problem. Early in the morning, about 5:30 to 8:00 a LOT of retired people show up. they sit in a big group with their one cup of senior coffee and talk. EVERY McDonalds has this. It is the one warm or cool place with free room for them to all meet and 'solve the world's problems together". Most groups are all men (Coots) some are mixed. Our MCD. is tired of them taking up space and hung this sign. So guess what the old people do? They change seats every half hour so they can say "I just got to this chair". There is always plenty of room and they know Mickey D can't shove them "out their door".

I don't know... I kind of think it's a good thing when people get together and if they're buying food and coffee... I say leave them alone.

This must be the hang out for older people everywhere. I have never seen a sign in any of our McDonald's like this. Good for the people that switch seats...they are doing the store a favor and spending their $ there...sheesh!
