Finally had a day off to go scout the local thrift stores (I was inspired by all the great things others have posted). I was ecstatic with what I found! So many good things and I think the total damage came to $43 dollars! I can't wait to paint everything and put it in my new room.
The VHS storage rack will be to hold my Cricut cartridges. It was $5. I was also able to find some empty VHS cases for $0.25 each to store the seasonal cartridges which don't come in boxes.
The cassette holder was my very favorite find for $3. After seeing people put their stamp pads in them, I began scouring eBay, but they are always really expensive. This one is not made by Napa Valley, I don't think, but it looks just like those. There is also a very small break in one of the dividers, but I don't think it will be an issue at all once it is painted and pretty'd up.
The white shelves were my most expensive purchases. The long ones are propped up against the wall in the back, but the three short ones in the front match them exactly. The long ones were $3 each and the short ones were $2 each.
I'm not sure what the diamond-shaped thing is exactly, but it collapses and expands like an accordian. My boyfriend found that one for me and I thought it would be perfect for hanging ribbon. The rest of the items are miscellaneous shelves and a CD rack that I'm still not exactly sure what to do with. Still, I can't wait to get started with painting and decorating.
