I am posting photos of my new scraproom. It was formerly our garage. We now have a detached garage, which is fine with me. I dreamed of having a scraproom like the photos posted by Ghost55. If you look at her photos, you can see that her room was my inspiration. In fact, I didn't know this until I had bought them, but my curtains are the exact curtains she has. And I believe I might have the same chandelier. My blue is darker than her's. Mine is called peacock blue and I think it looks so pretty with the black and white.
This Expedit shelving unit from IKEA is my pride and joy! Look how much it holds. the chandelier is supposed to be for a little girl's room, but it kinda makes me feel like a princess! To the left of the shelf is a peg board, given to me by one of my friends. I have three of my most recent lo's hanging from a string with clothes pins. I saw that somewhere on this site.

Beautiful! I just popped up recent rooms and saw this and thought absolutely pretty! Then I started reading your description and I grabbed my heart and fought back a few tears. I am so completely happy for you and so glad that you were able to take a little out of my room and make it yours. I have amassed a ton of pictures of inspiration rooms and now I have yours to add to it. Well done my dear, enjoy and I would love to be in this glorious scrap room! wonderful!

Love all your shelving. Mine is all in black, but the more I see of the white the better I like it and wish I'd done that instead. Great room!

It's beautiful. I hope you enjoy every minute you get to spend in it. I also think it was very thoughtful of you to share the name of the person who inspired you. So many on this site forget to praise whoever inspired them. I am sure she is thrilled to know that you enjoyed her room enough to create something similar but with your own special touches and and personality. If I could, I would want to do something similar. I am delighted for you.
