went for a walk today - the bridge was orignally there in 1332 according to the marker in the middle of it (although I am sure it has been fixed up a time or two - in fact the "road" over it is still old cobbles - there is the point where 3 rivers meet in Stockport and flow together towards the Sea. - the right top photo is of the "beach" lol
