Hello there dear friends, well christmas is nearly upon us, and like every year I like to do a page with a favorite photo of me and the grandies and write a little poem. We are all one year older maybe not wiser, but the photo remains christmas past.
THANKYOU ALL WHO HAVE VISITED MY GALLERY, LEFT LOVING COMMENTS, ADVISE AND MOST OF ALL YOUR LOVING FRIENDSHIP. ALL TAKE CARE AND HAVE A WONDERFUL FESTIVE SEASON...BIG HUGS ..CHEZ
THE POEM
christmas 2012 is not far away,
and like me you are all probably preparing for that special day,
so many things we have to do,
check all the decorations, the old and the new,
most important to set up and adorn our tree,
a big showpiece for the day for all to see.
flickering fairylights add a great touch,
mingled amongst the tinsel but not too much.
wrap the presents for our loved ones and friends,
get all the cards written that we have to send.
make a list of food and drink we need to buy,
we better hurry, time is slipping by.
christmas day all around the table we will be,
all the meat will be carved by me.
everybody dig in, fill your own plate,
lets eat on time and not be late.
plum pudding and pav, cheesecake too,
oh and open our presents, one thing we must do.
special times throughout the day,
we will remember our loved ones who have passed away.
so once again dear friends, merry christmas, happy new year,
hoping 2013 brings lots of happiness and lots of cheer.
AND ALREADY WE ARE FILLED WITH EXCITEMENT AND GLEE
