Sadly the cancer finally caught up with Riley. Had to say goodbye to him just before Christmas. But he did pretty good, he was almost 13! They originally said he only 6 months to a year left when we first found out about the cancer and he almost made it to 2 years!

You must miss that sweet face so much! I reasently lost my 13 year old dog to cancer too, but we didnt know she was sick till 2 days befor her death. I love your Lo- negativ space, stiching and title! I hope yor haertache will lighten a bit over time.

Awwww.... I'm so sorry. Seems like we all came to know Riley through your scrapbook pages. He had tons of personality! This is so sad. My Zip is now 15 years old and not doing so good and my BooBoo is almost 11, but usually that's about it for a big dog. I have many heartaches coming up in the future. But you know, it's all worth it. Our pets give us so much unconditional love, we really don't even deserve them. They are totally faithful and loyal. Sending hugs....Sue
