The inspiration for this layout came from 2 sources. Natalie Kalbach's layout "Old", in Somerset Memories, compared "when I get old" to a 1945 vintage truck. Then my DH, Bob, turned around on a drive to Fairchance Pa. a couple weeks ago to photograph these colorful "Rusted Relics" as he titled them.
So, in honor of my milestone birthday, I described the machines and me: "Wrinkled; Rusted; Unruly; Chained to a job; Strong; Determined; Gets through rough spots; Finishes the job." All appropriate adjectives!
The alphas are customizable foam stickers: the top layer peels off and I sprinkled 2 colors of glitter to get the look.

Just saw this featured, Cindy and I was hoping that the title did not refer to you or Bob - only to find that it did! The adjectives are fine but you're far from a rusted relic! Lots of fun!

Love the aged look of this page and the rusted relics photos - you are not a "rusted relic" Cindy - think of it this way - with each year we become more experienced, stronger, wiser, more mature, more knowledgeable, more enlightened, etc. - "rusted" and "relic" only apply to inanimate objects - nevertheless, I love your LO - it's probably one of the best that you've done - and that of course comes with "experience" ~
