Inspired by my friend ShaminJ's photo edit using the song Praise You in the Storm by Casting Crowns in the September Photo a Day challenge, I thought I would share some photos I took when I saw the group Casting Crowns in concert back in August. To blog about counting my blessings. This is a very good thing for me to do right now because I just got back from "vacation". Don't get me wrong, I love vacation, but no matter how "good" it is; packing up 4 childern, camping gear and then getting rained out is well, trying. Jackpot! One of my favorite birds is the cardinal. Not very original, but I just love them and their song! The problem is, we only have them from time to time. Too many cats and dogs and not enough trees in our yard usually. Well, this morning I was doing my Bible Study when I heard the familiar chirp from outside. I grabbed camera and went outside. For Mother's Day my middle ds's class made these little survival kits. They contain:
1. Toothpick: to remind me to pic out the good qualities in others.
2. Rubberband: to remind me to be flexible!
3. Band-aid: to remember to help heal hard feelings: mine and other's.
4. Paper and pencil: to remember to count my blessings every day.
5. Eraser: to remember that we all make mistakes and it's OK.
6.Gum: to remind me to stick with it!
7. A Mint: to remind me that i am worth a MINT to him.
