I love wearing braids. They're low maintenance and they look great. I went walking around my neighborhood when Fay was a threat just to see if any of our neighbors had put up their hurricane shutters (only the police did since they were on stand-by). I got caught in the rain on the way back and felt great not having to worry about my hair. But all good things must come to an end. It's about time to take them out and give myself a relaxer. My dilema is THOSE THINGS HANGING OUT IN THE ATLANTIC OCE...

Guess what?! THERE'S ANOTHER STORM! IN THE CARIBBEAN! It was just named around 2pm cst. The weather forecaster suggested that the supplies we bought and didn't use for Fay last week, we need to keep them handy for this weekend. I've been sick with the flu all week long, so sick that yesterday I DIDN'T have any coffee. That's a big one for me.
