FINALLY! The baby is nearly a year old (Halloween babies RULE!) and my company has gotten SCRAPcast back on track. We are taping about 5 shows at a time, and all that work in front of the lights is killing me! And to boot, I just sliced my finger making dinner tonight - SO much worse than a papercut! You know that scrap room I started last New Years? Yep, not finished. As it turns out, I got pregnant right after starting the room and had to stop lugging stuff up 2 flights of stairs to my crop room. Now that the new edition is 9 weeks old (Halloween baby - how cool is THAT!?) I'm right back to getting my room in order. I've recruited my 6 year old daughter as well. The condition she gave me was that she is to have 'her spot' in the room as well so she can scrap with me!

Well, ALMOST finished! I've still got to spackle and paint the inside of the closet. After I took out the wire shelf, it left pretty nasty holes in the wall. Plus I have to take the sliding closet doors off their track and stash them someplace in the basement. I'm too wiped right now for another trip to Home Depot or to lug doors down two flights of stairs, so I'm just calling it a night.

Just sent in my PayPal money and I'm going away next weekend! I excited, but kinda nervous at the same time. I haven't been hardcore cropping like this in almost 2 years. I scrap by myself at home, when I can grab the time (like many others!) But now, it's from Friday night 4pm until Sunday noon-ish. 24/7 - but you obviously don't have to stay up the whole time!
