Yesterday, we took our son back to the Shriner's Hospital for his 6 month check up. The news was so good and the doctors were very excited. The bone (ball of his hip) is showing definite signs of regrowth. The x-rays are getting more white with each new view, instead of the varying shade of gray. This means the bone is rebuilding itself from the center out. The top of the ball still has dent in it and that will probably be the last to rebuild. But we are definitely on the downhill si...

Well, its been about a month and I'm still working on my goals. So far I have saved $179.00 by cancelling our Netfix subscription that we hardly ever used. We shopped our insurance around and saved $606.00 for the year. And we saw an impact on our electrical usage ....in the first month we dropped our electrical bill by 17% and saved $18.00. DH & I took a rare vacation and celebrated our 10 year Anniversary ....sort of a 2nd Honeymoon. We went to the North Shore of Lake Superior and though many people would not have found hiking in the woods, climbing rocks and finding waterfalls a Fun or Romantic vacation.
