At the wedding I was shooting on Friday night, there was this little old couple at the reception. They had to be in their 90's. They shuffled out the dance floor ever so slowly... holding hands... and proceeded to dance their hearts out. He twirled her around so gracefully. As I sat there taking pictures, the tears came. I scrapbook because i must. My husband has memory loss as a result of his previous cancer. If I don't scrapbook, he doesn't remember. I scrapbook because I want to remember all the little details of my ds life. I scrapbook because I want Evan to "remember" all the things he can't remember. I scrapbook for the future. I scrapbook becuase of the past. I wish I knew more about my family before me. Now no one will wonder who I am.

So today is the first day of spring... a new beginning....

There have been so many new beginnings in my life, how do you chose one that stands out? There is the obvious... first day of college, your wedding day, the birth of your first child.
