Kieran had his surgery last Thursday. As far as I know everything went phenomenally. I found out yesterday exactly what was wrong, and what the surgery was suppose to fix. Apparently the tube that connects the kidney to the bladder was non-exsistant in his little body. He had the start of a tube coming out of his kidney, but it was closed and ended, wasn't connected to anything. I'm sad and scared. Kieran is going in for kidney transplants on the 29th. He's a tough boy and has made it through so much already, but I'm still scared. When Sara was pregnant with him they told her he wouldn't be born, he wasn't going to make it. But he did. He made it full term and was born. Then they told her not to name him, he'd never make it out of the hospital. He did! They told her he wouldn't make it to his first birthday, but he just turned two in December!
