It's been so long since I've been on here. DD had surgery in March and then after her recovery there was the end of school year flurry of activies. It's definately made my bann on buying easier.

So I've self-imposed a bann on buying any more scrapbook stuff until I actually use some of the stuff I have. My family didn't believe it until I went to HL with DM and DD to buy cloth for dresses DM is making for DD. I didn't even go to the scrapbooking section of the store. I have stacks and stacks of papers, embelishments, photos, etc., but I feel like I have nothing to show for it. So hopefully I'll start creating instead of just picking up things that I have a great idea for. Wish me...

I have to admit that getting ready for the holidays is a bit easier this year. My dh and dd are going to TX to visit his family. I'd be going too, but I can't take time off work during the holidays. But I'm not having to rush around trying to find presents and feeling like I'm on a time line. We're going to celebrate after dh and dd return. The only thing I'm behind on is getting x-mas cards finished and in the mail.
