No, digital photography does not cause cancer or any other horrible illness. The dangers I want to warn you of have more of an effect on your history than your health.

The digital revolution has had a tremendous impact on the way that we view photography. More people than ever are taking more pictures than ever. However, just taking the pictures does not mean that more people are preserving their memories.

I used to get a lot of flack from my husband's family about always taking pictures (a lot of eye rolls and such). But here is my reward: Last year my oldest niece graduated High School, the first grandchild to do so. I made her an 8x8 album for a gift. It wasn't easy, most of the pictures I had were from holidays, no everyday shots. I asked her mother for pictures- she handed me a shoebox of crappy pics mostly taken with disposable cameras. Well now that the school year is winding down, life at the store is getting busy once again. This weekend is the Rubberstamp Expo in Springfield, MA and the following weekend is our 2nd big bus tour with the other 4 stores in CT. I can't believe tomorrow is the first of June already!! We are also in the process of organizing a benefit crop for one of our customers. Jennifer was in a very serious motorcycle accident about 4 weeks ago and is still in ICU. We are back from the CK Convention in Manchester NH. This year went a lot smoother for us and we had a very successful weekend. At Friday night's crop the ladies bought us out of all of the Prima flowers, DoodleGenies and most of the distress inks. So Saturday morning I got in my car and drove back to the store in CT to stock up on more! It was a good thing too because the ladies at Saturday night's crop came and bought most of that up.
