I just finished a lo tonight and as I began working on another I found myself gravitating to familiar Pagemap sketches. Since I started using Pagemap sketches for los or cards I have printed out the current month of sketches and have even gone back into the archives to find others. There is a Texas State Park (Brazos Bend) which is only about 45 minutes to an hour from us. We have so much fun there. We have gone camping a few times. Today was a gorgeous day for a trip to Brazos. Everytime we go we try and see how many alligators we can find. One time we found about 12 that were on the path. I scrap 8.5x11 and have always done them vertically. For a challenge a few months back, I ended up doing the lo horizontally. I really liked how it came out. I have started doing more horizontally depending on the lo design I want to use and the best way to put the pictures. I am having a lot of fun with the "new" discovery!

We have an artificial Christmas tree that I rather like and have had for at least five years. When we put it up after Thanksgiving, it was off balance because part of the stand broke. We did get it to stand straight and I was just fine as long as the children didn't play with it. Yesterday (December 23), my 2 1/2 yo dd decided to play with the tree. It fell over on her. It didn't hurt her it just scared her. Now the tree stand is completely broken. I called dh at work and he just laughed....

It is snowing again right now. Today started out cold and rainy. Then after the kids came home from school, there were reports of snow in various parts of town. I started to get excited.
