Good news! My husband did get a teaching job 3 days before the school year began. We were thrilled and has taken a lot of pressure off of us. I'm now back to scrapbooking a little and joined one of my groups yesterday. I only got one page done but we all shared a lot of laughs. Good time was had by all. Thanks for stopping by.

Summer is over...I feel fall in the air some mornings then the temperature rises and it's summer all over again. My kids have gone back to college and it's so empty here but we find things to do and, of course, I work daily whether at my job or at home. It has been a busy summer but I'm still getting a lot of scrapbooking time despite everything that's been going on around here. My dd likes to scrap too so we have at least once a week for a few hours. She has some great ideas and has inspired me quite a bit. Now if I'd only add some layouts to my gallery...hhmmmmmm.

I think May has been one of the busiest and longest months in my entire life! We've had company, graduations, birthdays, kids moving home, lots of overtime at work and finally the end of my husband's school year and the end of his job with the school that he has taught at for 22 years. The school is closing after 55 yrs. of operation. Now what? I'm so afraid that at his age he won't be able to find another teaching job.
