I normally love summer. Warmer temps, more things to do, fairs and festivals to go to and as always getting ready for Football season. But I am not enjoying this summer not one bit. I guess I am getting old!! One of my childhood heros died today, Robert "Evel" Knievel, he was 69. Kinda a strange that a girl would have a motorcycle guy as a childhood hero. But he was Superman and Captain America all rolled up into one for me. He was far from perfect but he wore the Red, White and Blue better than most men did.
