I'm getting closer to having time to scrap. YAY!! I've had a bunch of things on my "to do" list that I told myself that I had to get done before I could start scrapping again. Personal bookkeeping all caught up and balanced?.......Check
Filing done?.....Check!
Family calendar up to date?.....Check! Although our schedules are constantly changing so this one goes haywire quickly!
Desk cleaned up?......Almost. If only the rest of my family would leave my desk alone! LOL

Guess it's been awhile since I posted! Life, as usual, has just been crazy. Work, church, school and youth group activities with the boys, sports and some other things have just kept us on the go. School just started here though, and fall baseball is starting up again, so the hectic schedule will continue. No time for scrapping sadly, but I hope to get back to it soon...VERY soon. One year. One year ago today I got the call that my mom had had a heart attack and passed away. Still seems like only yesterday sometimes. Man, I miss her! We had lived hours (and/or states) away from each other for years, and I rarely got to see her in person and spoke with her on the phone usually about every other week (although they were marathon conversations that could go on for hours). We had definitely had our differences over the years, so I didn't think I would miss her this much....

First off, I have to say that I love where I work now, have fantastic co-workers, and was truly blessed to find a job that fits in so well with our family schedule and needs. But....oh, how I miss my former job in the scrapbook industry. How I loved that job, even during some of the stressful times when I didn't always like it so much.
