Ok so the title isn't exactly the truth, but it grabbed your attention, am I right?

Yesterday we went to Karmanos for Tim's infusion. On Friday last week he had a CT scan. So we were met in the hallway by one of Dr. Heath's nurses. Tim's CT scan on Friday showed only 7% growth of the lesions on his lungs. So he was okayed to stay on this drug trial!! We were told if it was 20% or more than they would've stopped this drug trial and looked for another. We were in Detroit all day Tues. We got there late, hence the longer day. Today we went up for blood work and EKG in the aft. and were able to drop Mitch off for work, he got there a 1.5 hrs. early but had a chance to shop Bed, Bath &Beyond, Office Max, Best Buy and of course ...

Tim finished the drug trial last week Monday it was the 8th day of the 2nd round. Then he had a CT scan this week to see if the drug worked. The CT scan showed that the lesion(s) had grown 1 cm. He talked to his drug trial doc and she said not to worry about it that is her job. She told him that Tues is the day they discuss the drug trials and hopefully they'd have something for him when she sees him on Aug. 13. It's getting a little tough here money wise.
