Aloha!! So far December has been pretty nice here in Hawaii! Finally a break from those high temperatures! The days have been very breezy. Very comfy. A few rainy and overcast days inbetween has been really nice. We are looking forward to spending Christmas here at home. Unfortunately none of our family members could break away from commitments on the mainland. Such a busy time of year for everyone. We miss them so much! Happy Holidays!

I have always loved this recipe!

Jose Cuervo Christmas Cookies

- 1 cup of water

- 1 tsp baking soda

- 1 cup of sugar

- 1 tsp salt

- 1 cup of brown sugar

- 1 tsp lemon juice

- 4 large eggs

- 1 cup nuts

- 2 cups of dried fruit
