A couple of weeks ago I attended my second ATC club/class. This month we played with UTEE, and I actually swapped one of my cards! My creations were still the least creative of the entire group, but these ladies are wickedly talented! I had a blast. Last Saturday I attended my first ATC Club meeting. I met some incredibly talented crafters and we played with alcohol inks, which was so much fun! I learned a few things about myself. I learned that the "play" side of my brain does not coexist with the "design" side of my brain . School tires me out, and I'm not even the student . DS started his senior (gulp) year. Time flies. He was in 8th grade when I discovered sb.c. Anyhoo......since he is back in school, I am back on the road. It's a 50-60 minute drive from home to his school and then to my office. Once there, the day is mighty long. Once home, my inbox is filled with the typical back-to-school paperwork, and my scrap space is filled with textbooks and school supplies. I want to scrap, but I just collapse...

Last night our power went out suddenly at 11pm-ish. The outage affected a wide area, and everything was soooooooo quiet. Except for the USB hub DH installed to protect our wireless system from a sudden outage. Every 30 seconds it went, "BEEP BEEP". it was annoying for the first few minutes , really annoying 10 minutes later, and at the "OMGosh-make-it-stop" stage after 25 minutes .
