Have been hobbling around the house for a few days - the staircase is a challenge as is changing DDs nappy ( diaper ) in the morning . However spent two days doing some serious scrapping ( better than any painkillers !!! ). Off to hospital for surgery this morning will be away from my stash for a few days and not sure how fit I will feel when I get back. Have to say a little nervous but I am looking forward to starting the road to recovery - 4 days since my accident I am already grateful for the legs given to me - it is so hard to take a shower, make and carry breakfast to the table, get myself up to my bedroom, get changed. Ok my last entry mentioned the obvious lack of time that my day to day life had for even attempting to put together LOs let alone blog - I just waved a red flag to someone with that comment. On tuesday while umpiring a school hockey tournament I fully ruptured my achielles tendon.......OUCH!!!! Now I am in a cast awaiting surgey ( Sunday ) and lots of time on my hands!!! Why BLOG ehh? I simply don't have the time - the shame this was last updated over 5 mths a go!! The excuse well I could give 100!! I'm pretty good at excuses you see.
