I have been experimenting with digital scrapbooking. My husband is thrilled with this. I found a site called PicNik.com that allows you to download from Flickr and do some pretty cool things with your photos in a very fast and simple way. Every year, we take a pumpkin picture. In my absence from blogging here, I have been doing a little shopping. Bargain shopping that is! I have found some good deals on scrapbooking items locally. Here are my secrets to not spending too much on scrapbooking:

We have done several fun family outings lately that I am looking forward to scrapbooking. The kids had a blast at Maple Sugar Days at Lake Farm Park and we have been getting out more to the playgrounds and parks as the weather is improving (slightly). I have been sick again and my scrapbooking (along with my household duties) has suffered. I have so many wonderful ideas and new techniques that I have been reading about in some of the scrapbooking magazines that I want to try. I was blessed to be able to spend an evening at a play at our local playhouse with my MIL earlier this week. It seems that I can not keep scrapbooking off my mind! The play was called "Intimate Apparel" and it was about a seamstress who made lady's corsets at the turn-of-the-century. The set and the costumes were rich with wonderful patterns and colors.
