Crops at my LSS are always a great time, however, a recently added activity makes it even more fun. POKER! We scrapbook for 4 to 6 hours (I swear!) and then we rearrange the tables and break out the chips. I have to be one of the world's WORST poker players, but the last time we played I got lucky and won 45 whole cents. And if you happen to be a bigger winner than I have been, you can spend your money on scrapbooking stuff...it's the perfect arrangement!

Every fall, since the 1950's our community has held the Lampeter Fair. It's a pretty big deal since we live in a agricultiral area. Lots for kids from FFA (Future Farmers of America for all you urban dwellers) show their livestock and produce. There is a Fair Queen, good food and all that down-home stuff. I've never considered purchasing a pair of Crocs before yesterday, Although I love the colors and I've heard how comfy they are I thought that since I have small, narrow feet, I'd end up looking "clownish" in them. But last night I read that they had come out with a Mary Janes style of Crocs that are more narrow. I think I've stumbled onto a great idea. I really enjoy going to crops at my LSS. They usually go REALLY late. But normally I'm the last person to arrive and one of the first to leave. I always want to stay longer, but I feel guilty about being out enjoying myself when everyone else is at home (even if they're asleep).
