No I didn't cut the chevrons by hand. They are an svg file I found (it's in my post). BUT I will say it wasn't just a plain chevron like I wanted. This is actually the middle part of one of the chevron designs. So if you want just a plain chevron this isn't the file unless you use the middle of it and throw the outside outline away. Hope that makes sense.

Anna just curious why do you have a baby and mini cricut...aren't they the same thing? Or am I missing that one can do something different? Or it could be just the timing that you got it?

Thank you for your kind comments on my LO... "if it ain't broke...". My granddaughter has a great attitude about it. She did have one small break down when she realized she couldn't compete again this season but she's entitled.

I think you meant this but you do want to move the paper NOT the scissors. Have a wonderful week!

Oh I didn't mean your cutting was bad it looks like mine. But the trick is to go around it with a black marker....redoing the outline! You will see that if you look at my cards they have a pretty strong outline. You can still paper piece with a stamp to...just stamp it on each color and cut out. For fussing cutting I use Cutterbee's have for years and love them. The trick is move the paper not the scissors. I don't use markers a lot cause real stamping is not my thing so I shy away from it. I used Tombow only because that is what I was use to and have never been taught with the Copic markers. I think you are doing great and are for sure no beginner at card making. Thank you for the compliments sometimes I feel mine look same ol' same ol'. Okay have to get ready for dr. appointment will make sure I answered everything when I get back.

I use Bazzill Cardstock for the most part.Sometimes will use hobby lobby but not very often. Michael's carries Bazzill too. I was spoiled with textured cardstock - Bazzill - when I work at the scrapbook store so I can't go back!! Digital stamps are like what most people know as clip art. They are better quality and come in different formats that clip art does not. You can paper piece them like I did. Or some come pre-colored (I use a lot) or you can print them out on water color paper or the paper for Copic Markers and then color them in. Doodle Pantry has some cute free stamps in the store. She also offers if you make a project with a Doodle Pantry image and enter into their anything goes challenge then she will send you the monthly stamp FREE. And it is super cute this month!! Bugaboo Stamps has a free digital stamp every Friday. Go check it out I love their stamps too. You will just put the freebie in your cart (make an account) and check out. It is then emailed to you. Any other questions just ask. I love corrupting people!!

The dog is a digital stamp. So I printed it out on each color and then cut out the piece and assembled them. The base is the dog in brown. Then I put the envelope and hearts on. Then I cut out just the face of the dog and put it on top so it looks like the envelope is in its mouth. I love Bugaboo stamps...you should check them out.
