and yep, stitching on French Braids is all done by hand and it doesn't take that long. I just punched the holes in (freehand) and then stitched it ... I usually watch tv while stitching!

Thank you so much for your kind comments on my Ed LO's.  My heart still aches everyday--it will be 2 years in May.  He was truly 1 of a kind!!  He was a quiet, sweet soul and totally stupid, LOL!!! I only have so many photos of him due to getting involved in scrapping and such like 8 years ago.  Most of our time together was pre-digital.  I keep meaning to start a tribute 8x8 album, but just can't seem to get it started.  I, too, feel for your loss as well.  Your gallery work, btw, is gorgeous!!  I love all the great saturation of colors!!  Take care, Erika

You're my volunteer hero today! How cool that you get to take the dogs on outings and that Avery gets to be part of the rehabilitation process. Do you have the National Geographic Channel? After the Dog Whisperer on Fridays, there is a show called Dog Town. It's my new favorite show. They are a no-kill shelter on 50,000 acres in S. Utah (www.bestfriends.org/dogtown) They rescue and rehabilitate dogs with the goal of adopting them out. I am going there for a week this summer to volunteer. Some of the Michael Vick (ick) dogs were taken there -- the worst cases. I hope working at the shelter is filling and satisfying your aching heart. Our broken hearts need to be rehabilitated too! Don't you wish you could adopt them all?? THANK YOU for caring!
