Welcome to SB.com Joi, I used to have a problem with journalling too and not because of english just couldn't get my thoughts together. Now I just keep a notebook near by to frequently right down thoughts about my subjects which happen to be my children. I find at sometimes I use those notes in the LO's later. hope that helps.
