Hi there, update on daughter is some good news. She will have surgery on August 10. Due to the size of the tumor, the oncologist wants to follow up with chemo and radiation to kill off any cancer that may be hiding out macroscopically. Luckily it appears to be contained and they feel it is very treatable. Thank you so much for your prayers for we have felt Gods hand with us all at this time.......~Cherrie~

Hi Christine, you always leave such kind & encouraging comments for me...just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate them. I haven't been around here as much as I used to either. I have two prolapsed discs in my neck & that keeps me from spending long spells at the computer like I used to. We have not long been back from our holiday to England, Italy & France & I have to tell you Disneyland Paris just ain't like Disneyworld at all. Very little crowd control...whan one of the characters makes an appearence they get mobbed! I witnessed poor Pluto twice get punched in his "whatsits". hello there, as some of you already know Wednesday we got the news my daughter has overian cancers. From the time the word is spoken to the moment you ear hears it, your world stops and changes. It is know longer your plans for life, but something else telling you how life will be. Cancer is just a small six letter word, but a word that will consume your days and nights. A word that you will fight againts to it is no longer in your vocabulary. Gwen will start chemo and radiation next week. I got the 3 grandkids back to Ga and I will start back home tonight so I can be with Gwen. Thanks to all who have said a prayer for her already. That means so much to me. I know God can do what I cant. I will keep you all posted as I can. Sorry if I wont be commenting alot for a while, but I will be looking. Scb.com will be my place of rest..........~Cherrier~

Hi there, well I hope to be on the road by 9;00 a.m. to head back to Texas. 3 kids and a long 16 hour drive. I just will try to think of scrapbooking all the way. I do have my photos in a book and all my papers flowers and stickers ready to go for when I get home. SHHH, dont tell my husband I had to leave most of my clothes out of the suitcase to hold all my scrapbooking supplies that I got. LOL. I am so inspired to get home and scrap by looking at all of you guys layouts. Have a great one and I will be back on Tuesday.....~Cherrie~

Thanks for the flower compliment.. not bad for someone that isn't a flowery girl.. and for a start. When I get more time at home I'd love to start making some of the full flowers that look soooo real!! Like the one you have on your altered box.
