do you make a lot of mini books? they're really cute, and i have been contemplating making one, but I don't think i can get away from traditional albums because i don't know whether mini albums will last?

Hi Tracy! Thank you for your comments on my layouts. My hairstyle is still pretty much the same as it was in the "One Fine Day" layout. My sis's has changed over the years..but I've just stuck to "wash n dry" with my curly hair...except occasionally if I have the time, I'll break out the blow dryer and hair iron to straighten out the curls a bit...but, it's too much work for me....

Hi Tracy! Just stopping by to say thanks for the visit and to answer your question on my "my quad" LO- the flourish was done just how you said!! 1st layer cut, then outlined in marker, then a shadow layer!
I see you are enjoying all your new toys!!! Trish

Thank you for your comments in my gallery! The red part on my "finally Pedalling" laout is inking that I did with a foam brush and I inked the chipboard too with a charcoal colour.

Hi Tracy,
Thanks for stopping by.
As for my last LO, only the tree and birdbath are MTC- everything else is carts.
Pink frame and sky birds - Sentimentals
Green circles- George
Birds, bird cage, fence - Songbird
Grass- Zooballoo
Spring title- Stretch your imagination
I tried to use mostly Cricut carts because it was for a Cricut challenge!
I hope you are lovin your machine! Trish

Just spent the last 15 minutes getting reacquainted with your Galley! I love your style, Tracey, your work is just gorgeous!
Thanks for the lovely comments on my recent LOs, the doodling one was so much fun to do and I couldn't resist scrapping that photo of my mom in "Cheeky"!

Thanks, Tracy, for your thoughtful comments on my recent LOs. I think my Mom will really like the album - she is a closet sentimentalist!! And I had so much fun with the doodling - that's the first time I have tried that technique and it was a little intimidating at first ( I am one of those scrappers that likes to try everything out first, and rearrange, before I commit to making anything permanent) so actually drawing right on my LO was a bit scary at first!! Thanks again! ~Laurie

Appreciated your visit and all the kind comments on my recent LOs. I have been letting my daughter take the car when she has to work in the evenings and that way I have uninterrupted "scrap time"! Hope your day is going well! ~Laurie

LOL! I'm working on getting out more pages with Slice bits and bobbles. I've got one page that requires a photo; another that I'm trying to decide IF I'm going to embellish further and a few pages I'm putting together in my mind. Don't forget, I JUST got it as a gift this past Christmas. As for cards; of course I have the Basics 1 that comes with the Slice. I also received a font card for Christmas and DH surprised me with Basics 3 a couple days ago. I'd REALLY like the Big Kids card and am simultaneously working toward it and hoping that I'm a lucky winner of the 2009 album contest.
